New Realities Video-Policies Festival

The presentation in Buenos Aires is organized by CONTINENTE and Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires (MAMBA).

CONTINENTE next to the Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires (MAMBA) are organizing the presentation in Buenos Aires of New Realities Video Festival to be held policies on 25th and 26th of April, 6:30 pm at the Museum of Modern Art and Alliance Française in Buenos Aires (Mamba) .

About the Festival

With the focus on the claims citizens of Argentina, 2001, Outraged of Spain, the Greek resistance, the student revolts in Chile and Latin American indigenous movements, among others, the cycle will address new forms of socio-political manifestation that developed in the world.

Coordinated by Hernan Bull and Iker Fidalgo, artists and researchers, members of the Research Laboratory of Intermedia Creations School of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, the cycle will show the work of 38 prominent directors in five thematic areas.

Thus, in the categories Video-Immediacy, Video-Mix Media, Video-Guerrilla; Video-Trailer and Video-Outsider, audiovisual works selected show different ways to represent this.

The Festival also will feature guest artists such as Daniel Andujar, artist and activist, Marcelo Exposito, artist and theorist, Isaki Lacuesta, winning filmmaker of the last edition of the Festival of San Sebastian, Gabriela Golder, video artist, curator and teacher, and the

SAG (Street Art Group).

On the first day, on 25th at MAMBA (Av. San Juan 350), the meeting will include a round table of Gabriela Golder, Eduardo Molinari and GAC (Street Art Group).

Meanwhile, on 26th April, the festival will be held in the auditorium of the Alliance Française in Buenos Aires (Avenida Córdoba 946), no further activity.
